The most common technique is dry needling with fine stainless steel needles. Acupuncture is especially helpful for functional issues such as pain, inflammation, and paralysis. Common conditions in pets include musculoskeletal disorders, asthma, allergies and digestive problems. Research shows acupuncture stimulates nerves, eases pain, relaxes muscles, and influences hormone release. It pairs well with massage, herbal remedies, nutrition, and conventional medicine. Before treatment, we perform a full physical exam, review your pet’s history, and may recommend diagnostic tests. Some pets improve after one session, but chronic issues often need 3–6 treatments. Sessions are usually weekly at first, then taper based on response.
